About Teaham Construction
Tom Hamamciyan is an independent contractor with 38 years of experience. His father was a contractor in San Francisco while Tom was growing up, providing him with the opportunity to learn the trade at an early age. Tom went to work for his father after graduating high school in 1985. He has gained valuable knowledge through the years, which he expertly uses in each project he works on. Tom is easy to work with and flexible when circumstances allow. Every client receives Tom’s best work – you can trust you will love your completed project.
Our Process
Each project varies in size and scope, but the overall process is the same. Once you reach out to Teaham Construction about a home remodel or carpentry project in Puyallup or the Pierce County area, you can expect the following:
Preconstruction Review & Design
Our process starts with an appointment to talk about your project. Your needs and wants for the project will be discussed and pictures and measurements will be taken of the proposed work area.
Design & Construction Estimate
Next, a materials list will be determined, pricing for materials and labor figured (including any subcontractor pricing for larger projects), and a completed quote sent to you for approval.
Materials Procurement
Once the project is approved, materials will be ordered. An upfront payment to cover the cost of materials is required for larger projects.
Project Construction & Payment
After the materials are onsite, the job will begin. Construction is typically finished within a few weeks with payment due upon completion. Larger projects that take longer to finish require a partial payment before project construction begins.
Our Quality Guarantee
Owner and lead contractor Tom Hamamciyan was taught at a young age to take pride in his work. To this day, he lives by that. Each job becomes personal to Tom and he treats it as though it's being done for himself. The most important thing for him is that the customer is happy with the finished product.
If a past customer has a concern or problem with a project that was completed within the last year, Tom will evaluate and work with them to fix the issue. However, if the issue was caused by regular wear and tear or negligence on the customer's part, the warranty will not be valid.
"We recently hired Tom to do demo, framing and structural beam install for a kitchen remodel, as well as, window and door installation. Tom was professional from start to finish. He came to our first meeting prepared, having already researched material pricing and was familiar with the plans. He showed up when he said he would and worked hard while at our house. The real value was in his input on options to save time and money. He suggested solutions and worked with the structural engineer to implement. Tom emailed me updates throughout the project. We will hire Tom for future projects. Highly recommend."
